Groups for CEVO finals revealed

The draw for the group stage of the CEVO Season 8 finals has taken place, with the eight participating teams having been drawn into two groups.

From November 6-8, the MLG.tv arena, in Columbus, Ohio, will stage the offline finals of CEVO Professional, where eight teams will lock horns for the lion's share of the $100,000 prize pool.

Taking part in this tournament will be the two finalists from Season 7, Virtus.pro and Natus Vincere, and the top three sides from both the European and the North American league divisions.

mousesports to attend CEVO Finals as a last-minute replacement 

After previously announcing that HellRaisers would be replaced by G2 due to "medical reasons", CEVO has now revealed that Dennis "⁠dennis⁠" Edman's side have withdrawn from the tournament due to travel issues. Replacing the former Team Kinguin will be mousesports, who finished fifth in the European division.

The CEVO Finals will begin with a best-of-three, double-elimination group stage, followed by the single-elimination playoffs. The grand final will be played in a best-of-five format. Below you can find the group draw in full:
