The first group stage of the fragbite Masters has come to an end, and only 16 teams remain in contention.
Apart from a surprising result here and there, the first group stage was played out as expected, as almost all big-name sides were able to finish in the top two places of their respective groups.
The biggest surprise came in the form of SK Gaming not making it out of the group, an outcome that certainly contributed to more roster changes for the Swedish side as Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi was on Tuesday removed from the team.
The group winners and runners-up will now be drawn into four groups of four teams, with the top two sides from each group progressing to the play-offs.
